PILGRIM TRACT SOCIETY

Our Founders

Dr. Samuel & Mary Daniel

Dr. Samuel Daniel, a turbine engineer deeply committed to his Christian faith, began producing and distributing Christian tracts to share biblical teaching. One of his early tracts used the story of a performing python to illustrate how something that may initially appear harmless can become destructive. The response to this tract encouraged him to continue the work, leading to the beginning of the Pilgrim Tract Society (PTS)

Mary Daniel resigned from her government position to join the work, contributing to the administration and women's ministry.

Together, they laid the foundation for a ministry that grew from Christian literature into a wider work involving theological education, children's care, leadership development, medical outreach and practical service.
